The Out-Patient Chemotherapy Unit is the centre for outpatient administration of cytostatics.

It provides for the treatment of 20 patients daily.

The treatment is carried out applying the latest chemotherapy protocols complying with international guidelines and national regulations. As soon as the patients are adequatelyprepared and premedicated, they receive the intravenous chemotherapy as defined in the guidelines for their lung cancer type. The therapy administration takes a few hours, and the patients comfortably seated in the pleasant room can watch television, or read newspapers or magazines.
